We initially called Cornerstone Property Services while in the midst of a project involving the uprooting of cement around our jacuzzi due to tree roots. The contractor we had originally hired for a relatively simple job found “problems,” including outdated spa plumbing, that would increase our out-of-pocket cost from $2500 to upwards of $40,000. Concerned about the integrity of this individual, we reached out to Cornerstone Property Services to receive another bid. They scheduled a free estimate with Jeff, who was nice enough to add us onto his busy schedule the very next morning.
Jeff’s assessment was in great contrast to that of our original contractor. He concluded that our original contractor had recommended excessive and overpriced repairs. Jeff also advised us that this contractor’s business practices (in terms of contract/change orders) were not in compliance with the rules of the contractor’s board. Because Cornerstone subcontracts for swimming pool/jacuzzi repair, Jeff provided referrals to several different contractors specializing in swimming pool/jacuzzi remodels. Though we are still in the process of deciding who to hire, Jeff’s wise counsel was instrumental in our decision to terminate our relationship with the original contractor we hired, and subsequently saved us thousands of dollars. Jeff went far above the call of duty in terms of the time he spent answering our questions and providing his expert opinion in regard to the issues we were experiencing. All the office staff, including Crystal and Maria, were extremely polite, helpful, and efficient in all of our interactions with them. We will definitely call Cornerstone when we are interested in doing further remodeling work on our home. Clearly, this is a company that cares about their clients.
