I had a major slab leak in my home that took out half of my kitchen. With Frank Erichson's knowledge and leadership, his Cornerstone Construction crews with their specific areas of expertise, did a great job of putting my house back together.  They met and conquered every challenge and there were many! They have been a constant resource whenever any repair issues arise. Jennifer, the office manager always responds quickly to my requests.  Frank dispatches the person with the required skill to assess and solve the problem. I have found Frank and the Cornerstone Construction and Property Services employees to be knowledgeable hard workers. I feel comfortable having them work in my home.

Frank Erichson and his great staff, were introduced to my wife and I for a townhome re-model project in July 2012.  After considering his company at that time under the name of Erichson Construction, we were delighted to have them as partners in this project after considering two other contractors, and gaining the value of our experienced decorator, who ended up being a great working partner with Erichson Construction for the duration of the five month project.  To this day, we confidently recommend potential clients to now Cornerstone Construction, since Frank and his team expanded their capabilities in 2017.

The attributes of the company include integrity, fair pricing, pride in workmanship, superior quality construction, and a loyal group of skilled professionals that have great longevity with the company.

Highlights of our townhome that are confirmed by many guests and potential Cornerstone clients, is the quality of the construction, particularly the crown molding, base boards and overall appeal of the general craftsmanship and finished product.

On or around the Spring of 2015, we contracted Frank and his team to also do the exterior of the home that included masonry and extensive brick work on the homes exterior, driveway and entrance walkway.  Their services included the general irrigation installation, lighting and limited plantings.  Again, this work and the entrance to our home draws accolades from neighbors, and guests.

In our limited residential construction market, we have found Frank and his team exceptional in all aspects of their organization.  We also thank the Erichson/Cornerstone team for the benefit of their quality in our home today.

Working with Cornerstone Construction is always a breeze. They make it so easy for our team to do what we do: DESIGN! Frank takes care of everything else! His team is clean, efficient, and hands on with any questions. He and his team are by far a favorite! We feel very grateful to work alongside them.

We hired Cornerstone Construction for a Master Suite Remodel - bathroom, closet and bedroom and we are extremely pleased with the results. They were informative when we were unsure, they hire top notch specialists and craftsman (electrician, tile, paint, flooring, slab, custom cabinetry, etc.) and they were professional, timely, followed through, etc. And they were kind enough to ignore me when I was walking around in my bathrobe with a towel on my head. Drew, the lead for our site, was extremely friendly, courteous, helpful and super customer focused. His dad, Frank, is a total professional. The business partners they use for flooring (Randy Sanchez) and fixtures were also both excellent. We have a custom vanity and built-in bookshelf that are AMAZING and the steam shower is a slice of heaven. Totally recommend this group of fabulous professionals!

We had the privilege of working with Erichson Construction, now Cornerstone Construction September 2016 - January 2017. We had known the Erichson family for many years and were excited to work with them. During the whole construction process we were not disappointed from the bid process to project completion. They were very easy to communicate with on a daily basis and constantly kept us updated on the progress of the addition.
The project involved adding a 499 sq ft Master Bedroom/ Bathroom off the back of our existing house. They handled everything very professionally from start to finish including working with the City of San Clemente permitting process. To this day, the final product and quality of workmanship puts a smile on our faces and gets compliments from many visitors. I wish we had more projects for them to complete on our house.
We recommend future clients to Cornerstone and will continue to do so with great confidence going forward.

As a design professional, the quality of construction directly reflects my design abilities and conception of ideas. The entire team at Cornerstone is concerned and enthusiastic to create the space that is desired by the client and in my case the designer. Before hiring a contractor we knew the ownership of Erichson Construction, on a personal level and based on this relationship and our understanding of Frank's morals and ethics, as well as his professional experience in the industry, we had no concerns entering into a contract with him. Our contract was for full remodels of 3 bathrooms (including master bath), flooring in master bedroom, removal of a window and installation of a large accordion door, along with some finish exterior work. Needless to say, everything turned out amazing as expected, on time and within budget. Frank’s creativity and attention to detail is an added bonus to Erichson Construction’s/Cornerstone quality workmanship and integrity which has lasting value. We are super satisfied with our decision to hire Erichson Construction/Cornerstone based on these fundamentals and are more than happy with the outcome. Frank Erichson and his associates have done a number of commercial and residential remodels for me. He is very responsive, timely, and most importantly a true craftsman. He always comes up with ideas better than I imagined and executes with precision. He is an artist in his field. I don't say this lightly as he took our home down to 2x4s and built us a spectacular remodel that far exceeded our best dreams. We would be proud to show his work to anyone. We are very happy and truly amazed with the extensive restoration and remodel provided by Cornerstone Property Services that was completed in April 2015. Our 2 downstairs bathrooms and foyer closet were completely rebuilt by Cornerstone. We had contacted 3 other construction companies to obtain estimates on this project and decided to proceed with Cornerstone based on their reputation for quality work, reasonable price, and their outstanding customer reviews. While another full-service company was recommended by our homeowners insurance, we found that the volume of local reviews for Cornerstone and their responses to our questions were clearly superior. Once the water remediation and air quality testing was completed by the original company recommended by our insurance company, we started to obtain reconstruction estimates for our home in Fountain Valley, CA. Then, after a reality check on the cost and time required to properly rebuild those rooms, we decided to re-pipe our home before proceeding with the reconstruction. Having an older home with copper pipes laid into the concrete slab and having had to reroute a hot water pipe 2 years ago in our kitchen due to a slab leak, it was the logical choice to re-pipe before attempting the 2 bathroom rebuilds.

We had Ameri-Cal Repipe & Plumbing do the full house re-piping because that was their specialty and we were still interviewing construction companies for the full rebuild at the time. Ameri-Cal did an excellent job I am happy to say. By the time the re-piping was done, we had a tentative shopping list of the materials that we wanted for the rebuild of the 2 bathrooms and foyer closet. Steve Cederquist and his staff at Cornerstone helped us refine the list and keep the project within our budget. After I signed the construction contract, Cornerstone started the project the following week and that start date was ahead of schedule. During the project, his supervisors and work crew provided good communication and care in working through each phase of the project and keeping the worksite cleaned up on a daily basis. We had porcelain wood-like floors installed, new electrical switches & circuits, a new ceiling mounted Air-King heater, fan, & light combo, new composite bathtub, new subway style tiles in the guest bathroom, new curved bathtub shower rod, new master bath shower pan, new shower drain trap, hot mop for the shower pan, new shower tiles, tall shower pass-through doors in master bathroom, new Kohler toilets, Kohler sinks, Kohler sink faucets, new medicine cabinets, new vanities, new vanity mirrors installed, along with new drywall, primer paint, finish paint on the walls and doors, reconstructed door casings & door jambs, and new baseboard moldings.

The Cornerstone project was completed in only 3 weeks elapsed time. We happily moved back to our home after our insurance company allowed us to stay free of charge at the local Marriott Residence Inn for 3 months while the materials testing, demolition, water remediation, air quality testing, re-piping, and reconstruction took place.

We initially called Cornerstone Property Services while in the midst of a project involving the uprooting of cement around our jacuzzi due to tree roots. The contractor we had originally hired for a relatively simple job found "problems," including outdated spa plumbing, that would increase our out-of-pocket cost from $2500 to upwards of $40,000. Concerned about the integrity of this individual, we reached out to Cornerstone Property Services to receive another bid. They scheduled a free estimate with Jeff, who was nice enough to add us onto his busy schedule the very next morning.

Jeff's assessment was in great contrast to that of our original contractor. He concluded that our original contractor had recommended excessive and overpriced repairs. Jeff also advised us that this contractor's business practices (in terms of contract/change orders) were not in compliance with the rules of the contractor's board. Because Cornerstone subcontracts for swimming pool/jacuzzi repair, Jeff provided referrals to several different contractors specializing in swimming pool/jacuzzi remodels. Though we are still in the process of deciding who to hire, Jeff's wise counsel was instrumental in our decision to terminate our relationship with the original contractor we hired, and subsequently saved us thousands of dollars. Jeff went far above the call of duty in terms of the time he spent answering our questions and providing his expert opinion in regard to the issues we were experiencing. All the office staff, including Crystal and Maria, were extremely polite, helpful, and efficient in all of our interactions with them. We will definitely call Cornerstone when we are interested in doing further remodeling work on our home. Clearly, this is a company that cares about their clients. I called two local plumbers (Pristine and Poseidon) and left messages stating my problem (backed up toilet and shower) and where I lived. I didn't receive a call back from either plumbers.

I called Cornerstone and received a call back in less than 5 minutes. They had an expert plumber out to me in less than 30 minutes.

Dennis snaked the downstairs bathroom and was finished in an hour.

I highly recommend CPS for all your plumbing needs.

Just finished another remodel on one of our properties using Cornerstone Property Services. It looks fantastic. The overall experience was amazing. The inside  Customer Service with Crystal & Maria was awesome! Very responsive, professional and helpful. Thanks to the owner, Steve Cederquist, and a fantastic crew; especially Kam, Sean, Eric H., Max, Roy... Every Technician so polite, friendly and super clean which we so appreciated..., would highly recommend and planning to use for our other property upgrades this year as well. 5 STARS!!!

Cornerstone Property Services Inc remodeled my town-home in Costa Mesa and did an amazing job. Our remodel included 2 bathroom remodels, done by Javier and Eric both. The tile guy, Sergio did an AMAZING layout and even accommodated my last minute back-splash and decor piece requests! Tom did my hardwood flooring on the stairs and hallway and everything just looks fantastic. Erland, the electrician, is so patient and thorough and even came back to fix our GFI that popped on our porch because I, the smart one, accidentally got it wet! Kam, I think he's the supervisor, always made sure every tech was being really thorough and it really helped my husband and I have some peace of mind. The office staff, Crystal, Maria and Sam were always so helpful, always knew what was going on with my project and always accommodated us and our crazy schedule. Thank you Steve and Cornerstone!!
